R  3_  Safety the nut (64) with the new cotter pin (65).
R  (b) Put the push rod (24) in the position at the lever assembly (7) 
R  as follows: 
R  NOTE : Make sure that the locking shaft is in the unlocked____ 
R  position and the internal door handle (23) is in the 
R  locked position. 
R  1_  Install the bushes (25),(26) on the fork end of the lever
R  assembly (7). 
R  2_  Turn the door handle (1) or (23) to the unlocked position so
R  that the lever assembly (7) engages with the push rod (24). 
R  3_  If the attachment holes of these components do not align,
R  adjust the length of the push rod (24) (Ref. TASK 52-33-11-
820-002). 
R  (c) Put the spring unit (9) and the bushes (10),(11) in position on 
R  the structure of the Bulk cargo door. 
R  (d) Install the bolt (15), the washers (14) and the nut (13) and 
R  tighten. 
R  (e) Safety the nut (13) with the new cotter pin (12). 
R  (f) Put the spring unit (9) in position on the lever assembly (7). 
R  (g) If the attachment holes of these components are not aligned, 
R  adjust the length of the spring unit (9) (Ref. TASK 52-33-11-820-
002). 
R  (h) Install the bolt (8), the washers (6) and the nut (5) and 
R  tighten. 
R  (i) Safety the nut (5) with the new cotter pin (4). 
R  (2) Install the internal door handle (23) and the related flange bearing 
R  (17) as follows: 
R  (a) Install the flange bearing (17) on the lever assembly (7) and 
R  attach it with the bolts (16) and the nuts (19) to the attachment 
R  plate (18). 
R  (b) Put the internal door handle (23) on the lever assembly (7) and 
R  make sure that their holes align.

R R  (c) Install the bolt (22), the washer (21) and the nut (20) and tighten. 
R R  (3) Install the external door handle (1) to the handle housing (3) as follows: 
R R  (a) Install the spring (2) and the external door handle (1) into the handle housing (3). 
R R  (b) Press the external door handle (1) inboards until its hook engages with the pin of the handle housing (3). 
R R  (c) Put the stop fitting assembly (27) on the lever assembly (7) and attach it with the screws (28). 
R  (d) Safety the screws (28) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).

 B. Installation of the Door Handle Mechanism (Ref. Fig. 401A/TASK 52-33-21-991-001-B)
 (1) Assemble the quadrantal ring (134) and the lever assembly (128) on the handle housing (131).
 (2) Install the external door handle (133) to the handle housing (131) as follows:
 (a) Install the spring (132) and the external door handle (133) into the handle housing (131).
 (b) Press the external door handle (133) inboard until its hook engages with the pin of the handle housing (131).
 (c) Put the stop fitting assembly (129) on the lever assembly (128) and attach it with the screws (130).
 (d) Safety the screws (130) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).

 (3) Install the detention rod (107) and/or the push rod (125) as follows:
 (a)
 Connect the push rod (125) to the main lever (122) as follows: NOTE : Make sure that the locking shaft is in the locked

 Put the push rod (125) in the position at the lever assembly

 position.
 1_ Put the lower fork-end of the push rod (125) to the main lever
 (122).
 2_ Install the bolt (123), the washers (124) and the nut (126).
 3_ Tighten the nut (126) and safety it with the new cotter pin
 (127).

 (128) as follows:
 NOTE : Make sure that the locking shaft is in the unlocked

____ position.
 1 Turn the lever assembly (128) so that it engages with the push
_ rod (125).
