Rub the surface with a clean cheesecloth that is moist with solvent.
(b)
Before the solvent is dry, rub the surface with a clean cheesecloth.
(c)
Do steps (a) and (b) until you do not see unwanted materials when you rub the surface with a clean cloth.

B. Mix the Materials

(1) To mix the base component with the catalyst, do the steps that follow:
CAUTION:_______USE CLEAN CONTAINERS TO MAKE THE MIXTURE. DO NOT USE CONTAINERS LINED WITH ORGANIC COATINGS. THE ORGANIC COATINGS CAN BE DIRTY AND CONTAMINATE THE MIXTURE.
(a)
Mix 1 part of X-310 with 2 parts 683-3-2 by volume. Add the catalyst to the base while you mix the base component.
(b)
Make sure there is an equal distribution of the components in the mixture.

(2) When the mixture is ready for use, put a label on the container that shows the date and the hour the mixture is made, and the hour the pot life will expire.
NOTE: The catalyzed finish material has a pot life of 4 hours at
____ 70°F. Discard the catalyzed finish material whose pot life has expired. The use of a finish which has its pot life expired will cause its performance unsatisfactory in service. Keep the finish that has not catalyzed at a temperature of between 40°F and 90°F. The shelf life of the finish that has not catalyzed is 12 months from the date that it is made.
C. Apply the Finish

(1) Before you apply the finish, clean all the surfaces, refer to "Clean the Surface" task.
NOTE: When the finish is applied on the sealant, let the sealant

cure to a tack free condition.

(2) Apply the finish in an area that will have a good flow of air. Keep a temperature more than 65°F and a relative humidity of less than 85%.

(3) S 377-014-B00Apply the finish with a brush to a thickness of 1 to 2 mils (0.001 to 0.002 inch).
(4) S 377-015-B00Apply the finish on the surface with an overlap of 1/4 inch minimum to have a fluid-tight barrier.
(5) S 377-016-B00To seal the edge of the decals, apply the finish to the decal with a 1/4 inch overlap of the decal and the adjacent surface.
(6) S 377-017-B00To cure the finish, do the step that follows: (a) Cure the finish for 4 hours at a minimum of 70°F before you let it out in an open area.
NOTE:____ The full cure for the finish is 14 days at a minimum of 65°F.
(7) S 377-018-B00If the finish is damaged, do the same steps again from the start of the task.
