(8) Remove the assembly for the lock link (AMM 32-21-06/401).
NOTE: The proximity sensors and the wires do not need to be removed
____ from the lock link. Remove the crank (18) and leave the upper and lower drag struts disconnected.

Remove the pin (7) and the lubrication insert (8) to disconnect the rod end of the retract actuator from the shock strut (View A-A).

Move the rod end of the retract actuator into the up position. Tie the actuator to the upper drag strut.

Install the removal/installation equipment for the nose landing gear (B32005-68).
(a)
Attach the Lower Drag Strut Support Assembly to the shock strut through the retraction actuator link. Move the lower drag strut up toward the shock strut, lock the drag strut into the Lower Drag Strut Support Assembly.
(b)
Install the Support Assembly to the lower end of the upper drag strut. Raise the upper drag stut toward the rear of the wheelwell until the Support Assembly aligns with the wall fittings for the Lock Link Assembly. Connect the Support Assembly to the wall fittings.
(c)
Connect the rear of the Track Assembly to the Support Assembly. Connect the front of the Track Assembly to crossbar of the Upper Drag Strut.
(d)
Connect the Lift Lug Assembly to the upper end of the Lower Drag Strut.

Lift the nose landing gear with the removal/installation equipment to relieve the load on the trunnion pins.

Get access to the nuts for the trunnion pin (30) through the main equipment center, panel 119BL (AMM 06-41-00/201).

Remove the nuts for the trunnion (30) from the two trunnion pins (26) (Views C-C, D-D).

Remove the bolts (34) to disconnect the plug (37) from the trunnion pin on the right-hand side. Remove the plug.

If necessary to get clearance to remove the trunnion pin, remove the support bracket for the upper pulley (AMM 32-51-14/401).

Remove the trunnion pins (26) with the trunnion pin puller. Use the instructions supplied with the tool.

Move the nose landing gear 90 degrees to clear the side walls of the wheel well.

Install the landing nose gear on the transportation dolly. Use the instructions supplied with the tool.

Remove the nose landing gear removal/installation equipment from the shock strut.
