 Install the engine cowling.

c) Empennage joint area
1.
 Check the complete tightening of the bolts used for fastening the horizontal tail unit to the fuselage and their securing;

2.
 Check the proper attachment and securing of the braces;

3.
 Check the proper tightening and securing of the bolts on the elevator control rod joints;

4.
Check the free movement of the elevator, rudder and elevator trim tab. Check for any abrasion while moving the rods through the cutouts in the fuselage;

5.
 Check the correctness of the deflection values of the elevator, elevator trim tab and rudder;

6.
 In the end assemble the horizontal tail-to-fuselage fairing.

d) Cockpit area
1.
 Check the operating condition of the control panel instruments;

2.
 Check the technical condition of the control panel;

3.
 Check the control panel fastening to the fuselage framework;

4.
 Visually check, as much as possible, the inside area of the control panel, paying attention particularly to the condition of the flexible tubes of the anemo-barometric instruments;

5. Check the condition and fastening of the airplane instruments.

6.
 Check the condition and fastening of the circuit breakers and switches located on the control panel;

7.
 Check the general condition of the cockpit;

8.
 Install the access covers in the cockpit floor.

CAUTION: After completing the final inspection, carefully check the inside area of the cockpit and the area of the access covers in the cockpit floor, so as to identify any foreign matters that might cause blocking or damaging of the airplane controls.
11 PAINTING AND COATINGS
An acrylic system is used for painting the aircraft. The same system must be used for reconditioning the painted areas.
 Necessary materials: -Epoxy primer 3204; -Hardener I 3325; -Thinner D 309; -Intermediate paint 3204-white; -Acrylic enamel 4508 of the same color, as per the painting scheme agreed with
the customer;
-Hardener for enamel 1364;
-Thinner D 002-2;
-Sand paper 400-600-A4;
-Packing paper;
-Adhesive tape;
-Cotton cloths;
-Polyethylene gloves.

Painting procedure:
1.  
Clean the area to be painted;

2.  
Use packing paper and adhesive tape to protect the areas not to be painted;

3.  
Prepare the area to be painted; where necessary, clean it with sand paper and blast with compressed air;

4.  
Degrease the areas to be painted by wiping them with cleaning cloths dipped in thinner D 002;
