You use hand and power tools as well as sophisticated test equipment. Maintenance is performed around the clock, seven days a week. New mechanics and technicians should expect to work nights and weekends.
經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的機(jī)務(wù)通常能“手到病除”--簡單的工具甚至徒手(目視)就能精確判斷飛機(jī)什么地方出了問題;
至于工作時(shí)間嘛--修飛機(jī)這件事通常是7*24小時(shí)不間斷的在進(jìn)行,因?yàn)槟阋膊恢朗裁磿r(shí)候飛機(jī)出了問題需要“醫(yī)生”出診。
萬事開頭難--新人夜里擼飛機(jī)或者周末加個(gè)班那也是家常便飯!

Not necessarily. However, if you don't have a mechanic's certificate from the FAA, you can work only when supervised by someone who does have a certificate.
首先說明,不拿執(zhí)照一樣可以從事機(jī)務(wù)工作,只是正規(guī)軍和預(yù)備役的區(qū)別不用多說,在編的和臨時(shí)工中間就隔個(gè)一張執(zhí)照,有時(shí)候出了問題,當(dāng)個(gè)背鍋俠什么的一樣要有心理準(zhǔn)備--拉出來頂賬的也是“臨時(shí)工”;至于邀功請賞什么的,沒有執(zhí)照,可能真的沒有你的份!
臨危受命,重要場合做頂梁柱的必須得有執(zhí)照--當(dāng)然,很多時(shí)候,看似簡單,一樣的事兒,有執(zhí)照的動(dòng)個(gè)嘴,授權(quán)你(沒有執(zhí)照的)去做,你才能做!

某種程度上講,修飛機(jī)也是一種判定“執(zhí)法”,沒有執(zhí)照的話,從特定設(shè)備,單元構(gòu)造,故障現(xiàn)象判定,故障解除和修復(fù)的認(rèn)定等等都不能授權(quán)進(jìn)行;說俗一點(diǎn),沒有車票(執(zhí)照),你就上不了車,成不了“老司機(jī)”(職業(yè)巔峰)-老司機(jī)發(fā)車,你只有看的份!
The FAA issues mechanics and repairman certificates. Mechanics can get either an airframe rating or a power plant rating--most mechanics get both.
(為了規(guī)范從業(yè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn),定義職業(yè)角色)FAA局方制訂一些列標(biāo)準(zhǔn)條件,為達(dá)到要求的航空機(jī)械師(修飛機(jī)repairman的-也就是機(jī)務(wù))頒發(fā)/授權(quán)/認(rèn)定 “合格證”--也就是發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)(Powerplant)和機(jī)身(Airframe)執(zhí)照-簡稱AP執(zhí)照,通常這兩個(gè)執(zhí)照可以分開考,絕大部分情況下,機(jī)務(wù)都是一起考了省事!
Repairmen get certificates with ratings to perform only specific tasks, and they must be associated with FAA-approved Repair Stations, commercial operators, or air carriers holding authority to perform these tasks.
不單從事飛機(jī)維修的個(gè)人有執(zhí)照等級授權(quán),航空公司,飛機(jī)運(yùn)營單位,商業(yè)維修基地/場/站,或者機(jī)場維修站什么的,F(xiàn)AA局方也為這些相關(guān)“組織”頒發(fā),授權(quán)等級執(zhí)照--這就所說的很多航空公司(全球范圍內(nèi)的航空公司--目前中國五大航的部分基地或者機(jī)場都有FAA維護(hù)的等級授權(quán))不遺余力的申請符合FAA等級的飛機(jī)維護(hù)保障資質(zhì)!
作為有一個(gè)夢想成為老司機(jī)的-機(jī)務(wù),想去這些有FAA資質(zhì)的維修單位,從事各種授權(quán)的特殊維修任務(wù),就必須有對應(yīng)的維修執(zhí)照--AP執(zhí)照!
