 A. Preparation of the Replacement Component
 (1) Remove the components which are attached to the removed HP manifold as follows:
 NOTE : These components are hydraulically attached to the HP manifold
____
 with bobbins:

 -
the HP filter 3048GM

 -
the relief valve 3063GM

 -
the leakage-measurement solenoid valve 3150GP.

 (a)
 Remove the leakage-measurement solenoid valve 3150GP (Ref. TASK 29-19-51-000-003).

 (b)
 Remove the HP filter 3048GM as follows:

 (c)
 Remove the relief valve 3063GM (Ref. TASK 29-13-32-000-001).

 (d)
 Remove the hydraulic pressure transducer 3065GN (Ref. TASK 29-32-11-000-003).

 (e)
 Remove the system pressure switch 3151GN (Ref. TASK 29-32-12-000-003).

 (f)
 Remove the flight-control pressure switch 10CE3 (Ref. TASK 27-92-17-000-002).

 (g)
 Remove the fluid sampling valve 3187GM (Ref. TASK 29-13-34-000-001).

 (h)
 Remove the check valve 3059GM as follows: 1 Cut, remove and discard the lockwire.

 1_ Hold the HP filter 3048GM and remove the bolts (35),(36) and
 the washers (37).
 2_ Remove the HP filter 3048GM from the manifold (17).

 2 Loosen and remove the check valve 3059GM.

_
 3 Remove and discard the O-ring (32).

_
 4 Remove and discard the back-up rings (33) and the O-ring (34).

_

 (i) Remove the check valve 3022GM as follows: 1 Loosen the check valve 3022GM and remove it with the O-ring
_ (24).
 2 Remove and discard the O-ring (24).
_
 (j) Remove the seven bobbins (6),(8),(14),(39) from the manifold (17) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
 NOTE : There are three different sizes of bobbins.

 (k) Install blanking plugs in the open ports of the manifold (17).

 (l)
 Remove and discard these items from the bobbins:

 -
the square section seals ((50), (51), (15), (40)

 -
the O-rings (9), (53), (56), (57)

 -
the back-up rings (60), (59), (52), (7), (54), (55), (58), (38).

 (m)
 Put the bobbins (6),(8),(14),(39) into the BAG - PLASTIC to keep them clean.

 (n)
 Install blanking plugs in the open ports of all of the removed components.

 (2) Install the removed components onto the replacement manifold (17) as follows:
 NOTE : If the replacement manifold (17) has not been installed
____ before, then the threaded inserts (18) and the cylindrical pin
 (16) must be installed.
 (a)
 Remove the blanking plugs from the ports of the manifold (17) and the components.

 (b)
 Apply the HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new O-rings, back-up rings, square-section seals and the threads of the unions.

 (c)
 Put the back-up ring (52) in position on the side of the bobbin

 (6) without the identification groove (equipment side).

 (d)
 Put the square-section seal (51) in position on the side of the bobbin (6) without the identification groove (equipment side).

 (e)
 Put the back-up ring (7) in position on the side of the bobbin

 (6) with the identification groove (manifold side).

 (f)
 Put the O-ring (53) in position on the side of the bobbin (6) with the identification groove (manifold side).

 (g)
 Install the bobbin (6) with the identification groove in the port of the manifold (17) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).

 (h)
 Put the two back-up rings (60) in position on the sides of the bobbins (8) without the identification grooves (equipment side).

 (i)
 Put the two square-section seals (50) in position on the sides of the bobbins (8) without the identification grooves (equipment side).

 (j)
 Put the two back-up rings (59) in position on the sides of the bobbins (8) with the identification grooves (manifold side).

 (k)
 Put the two O-rings (9) in position on the sides of the bobbins
