Do a check for pieces of the TGB bearing race crimped retention ring.
 a. If you find flat, rectangular pieces (0.2 inch
_ (4 mm) in width and of different lengths) that are black and curled on the ends, replace the TGB (AMM 72-62-01/401).
Do a check for glass fiber with polymide material (reddish-brown color) or phenolic/plastic material.
 NOTE: These materials are an indication of damage
____ to the aft or forward air/oil seal material in the forward sump of the engine.
 a. If you find these materials, do a check to make
_ sure the oil pressure and consumption are satisfactory.
 b. If the oil pressure and consumption are
_ satisfactory, continue the engine in operation.
 c. Do a check of the oil pressure and consumption
_
 during the next 100-200 hours of operation.Do a check for Torlon resin or polymide material (green color).
 NOTE: This material is an indication of damage to
____ the forward air/oil separator sleeves.
 a. If you find Torlon material, do a check to make
_ sure the oil pressure and consumption are satisfactory.
 b. If the oil pressure and consumption are
_ satisfactory, continue the engine in operation.
 c. Do a check of the oil pressure and consumption

 during the next 100-200 hours of operation.Do a check for the rubstrip material of the labyrinth seal, stainless steel particles, or coatings such as silver plate.

a.  The engine is serviceable if you find these
_ materials. 10 Do a check for materials such as o-rings, or
__ contamination that has a black color or contains carbon material.
 a.  If you find these materials, do a check to make
_ sure the oil pressure and consumption are satisfactory.
 b.  If the oil pressure and consumption are
_ satisfactory, continue the engine in operation.
 c.  Do a check of the oil pressure and consumption
_ during the next 100-200 hours of operation.
 2)  If the CFMI Non-Destructive Test Manual (NDTM), Part 10, and Tooling photographs are not available and you find magnetic material that you cannot identify, do the steps
________ ______ and obey the limits that follow: a) SATISFACTORY CONDITION - If you find less than four____
______________________ magnetic particles and the largest of the particles is less than 0.01 inch (0.25 mm) in all dimensions, do the step that follows: 1_Continue the engine in service. The operator may
 reduce the MCD inspection interval to 50 hours. If no more particles are found, return to the normal check interval for the MCD.

__________________ magnetic particles and the largest of the particles is less than 0.01 inch (0.25 mm) in all dimensions, do the steps that follows: 1 Send the particles to the laboratory for analysis.

_ laboratory, do the inspection of the MCD for particles after each flight.
 3  After you receive the analysis results, refer to,
_ in this task, paragraph E.(3)(d)1 ) ("If you can identify the contamination material...") and take the appropriate action.
