If one engine fails, the FAC modifies the sideslip indication slightly to show the pilot how
much rudder to use to get the best climb performance (ailerons to neutral and spoilers
retracted).
In takeoff configuration (1,2,3) when the FAC detects asymmetric thrust (35 % N1) and at
least one engine is above 80% N1, the slideslip indication on the PFD changes from yellow
Io blue.
The pilot's response is normal and instinctive ~ zero the slip indication by applying the right
amount of rudder to get the best climb performance.
