BEST-IN-CLASS LAYOUT MACHINE
The LK LY90S is the best-in-class, all-purpose, mechanical
bearing ‘layout’ style horizontal arm machine. When cost
versus accuracy is at a premium, innovative use of metal and
carbon fi bre composite and large cross-sectional machine
axes make the LK LY90S unbeatable value for money.
Available as top or side mounted rail and table confi gurations,
machine capacities start from 1000mm x 1000mm x 1200mm
and range up to and above 10m x 2m x 3m. Single or multiple
columns can be supplied as sub-fl oor with walk-on X axis
covers or fl oor level installations, all with CNC and/or manual
control. Vector velocities in excess of 30 meters per minute
are achieved with repeatability maintaining 15 microns.
Probing options include touch-trigger digital or laser stripe
probing for geometric, free-form and reverse engineering

THE MARKET-LEADING HORIZONTAL ARM CMM
The LK HC90 range of horizontal arm CMMs provide unequalled
performance in speed, accuracy and repeatability, continuing
Metris’ highly innovative approach to CMM design. The
outstanding performance owes much to the ceramic guideways
and air bearings used in the construction. Stability at
high velocity and acceleration cannot be maintained using
outdated materials such as steel or aluminium with mechanical
bearings.
Offered in rail or table-mounted confi gurations, the options
of single or multiple columns are available with sizes starting
as small as 1000mm x 400mm x 600mm and ranging up to
and above 20m x 1.6m x 3m. Repeatability values as low as
1.9 microns are achieved with a speed of up to 50 meters per
minute.
The LK HC90 confi guration provides unique access to the
measuring envelope and can be supplied as sub-fl oor or fl oor
level installations, or as part of a fully-automated FMS cell with
automated component loading and environmental enclosures.
Combined with our own 3D measuring software, Camio, the
LK HC90 provides the complete inspection solution.

Camio Studio CAD interfacing software redefi nes the CAD
interfacing world of CMM programming. Simplicity with

Camio Inspect is designed to provide the quickest and

Graphical Reporting produces comprehensive full color
