Make sure the air flows freely.

 1)  If the air does not flow freely, do this task; Clean and Examine Drain System Aft of the Wing Center Section.

 (e)  
Stop the air flow.

 (f)  
Make sure that water does not flow out of the end of the manual drain fitting.

 (g)  
Make sure that water does not flow out of the end of the drain tube assembly. 1) If water flows out of the drain tube assembly, do this

 task; Clean and Examine Drain System Aft of the Wing Center Section.

Connect the drain line to the drain tube assembly.

Connect the drain line to the catch basin.

 Connect the drain line to the manual drain fitting.

 A.  General
 (1)  This test is to find leaks in the wheel well canted pressure deck area which can cause fluid to spray on the lateral control cables.

Get access to the canted pressure deck in the main wheel wells.

To pressurize the airplane, do this task; Cabin Pressure Leakage Test (AMM 05-51-08/201).

Hold your hand 6 inches away from the canted pressure deck.

 NOTE:____The cable ball seals will have air leakage. Isolate the the air leakage around the cable ball seals.

Closely examine the pressure deck for loose, missing, or cracked sealant.

Examine the area surrounding the drain tube penetrations (left and right) for missing sealant.

Examine the bulk area for loose or missing fasteners.

Examine seal where the bulkhead fitting penetrates the canted pressure deck.

Examine the composite closeout panels for leak paths.
