This section gives instructions for the disassembly of the Center Console.

(b)  
Disassemble the unit only when repair is necessary and only to the extend necessary for repair.

(c)  
Make a visual inspection of the Center Console before the disassembly as described in CHECK.

(d)  
Make a test of the Center Console as described in TESTING AND FAULT ISOLATION.

(e)  
For numbers in parenthesis which follow item names in the procedures refer to the figures and item numbers in the ILLUSTRATED PARTS LIST.

(a)  Disassembly of the Standard Center Console (Refer to IPL figure 4) 1 Remove the access cover assy (10), (20). 2 Remove the side cover assy (30), (40). 3 Open the life vest door assy (50). 4 Remove the screws (90), the lower life vest bracket (80) and the life vest door assy (50). 5 Remove the screws (70) and the front cover assy (60). 6 Remove the life vest liner (100), (110). 7
Remove the screws (130), (140), the washers (150) and the command center (120). 8
Remove the screws (170) and the stowage
bin assy (180).
9 Remove the screws (170) and the rear cover assy (160).

21 Remove the cable guide (580).
