 A. Installation of Responders
 (1)
 Remove the blanking caps from the detectors (11). NOTE : Do not remove the protection rings (supplied with a brand new

____ part) from the sensing elements (4) at this time.

 (2)
 Install the responders (11) on their supports as follows:

 (a) Put the hexagonal nut of the responder (11) in contact with the clamp (12)

 (b) Install the screws (8) and the washers (9).

 B. Installation of the pylon fire detector.
 (1)
 Put the bushes (3) on the sensing element (4), then in the clamps (2).

 Remove the protection rings from the sensing elements (4) and make sure that the sensing element (4) has a minimum straight length (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 26-12-16-991-001) above the responder (11).

 Close the clamps (2) and lock them with the fasteners (1).

 (4)
 Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (7).

 (5)
 Connect the electrical connectors (7) to the responders (11).
