A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(2)
Disconnect the flexible hose from the fill valve 1698GM.
(3)
Put the flexible hose in its position in the ground service panel of the Green system.
(4)
Install the blanking cap on the fill valve 1698GM.
(5)
Remove the hand pump lever from the hand pump 1009GM.
(6)
Put the hand pump lever in position on the ground service panel of the Yellow system.
(7)
Remove the container from below the hydraulic connections.
(8)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
(Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(9)
Remove the access platform from below the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
(10) Remove the warning notice(s).

SEAL DRAIN SYSTEM - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
_______
The seal drain system collects hydraulic fluid from the seal drains of specified components of the three hydraulic systems. The air relief valves of the reservoirs are also connected to the seal drain system. This is to collect any fluid which comes out of a reservoir if the pressure in the reservoir is too high. The fluid from a given component goes through a system of pipes to one of the two collector tanks. The tanks are the FWD collector tank and the AFT collector tank.
The system also gives some protection if the reservoirs are overfilled. However, if there is an excessive flow of fluid, or if the collector tank is full, the fluid comes out of the overflow pipe. In this case the fluid is not contained and goes into the hydraulic compartment.

The seal drain system has two plastic collector tanks (FWD and AFT) with related pipes and hoses. Each collector tank has a capacity of 0.75 l (0.1981 USgal) . Remove the hydraulic fluid from the collector tanks at regular times. The collector tanks are attached to the structure with quick release clamps to make them easier to drain.
