 Tighten the serrated nut of the test plug with your hand to lock the tool in the overboard vent.

 Close the manual ventilation valve of the measuring tool.

 A. Leak Check of the Vacuum Toilet System R (Ref. Fig. 504/TASK 38-31-00-991-016)
 (1) Do this test before the removal and after the installation of components of the vacuum toilet system.
 NOTE : The measured differential pressure values (result) must not be
____ below the limits given in Figure 503. Compare the result of the leak checks recorded before the removal and after the installation of the component. The result (of the test made) after the installation must not be more than 10% below the result (of the test made) before the removal. This is to make sure that the component is correctly installed and does not leak.
 NOTE : All values shown in this test are negative pressure.

1. In a lavatory:  At the manometer:
 -Push and release the toilet
 flush switch.

 -Use a STOPWATCH and record the  - After 30 seconds record the value and
 time of the flush cycle.  compare it with the calculated value from graph 1.
 -After 120 seconds record the value and compare it with the calculated value from graph 2.
 At the measuring tool:  At the manometer:
 -Open the manual ventilation  - The pressure is zero.
