 (4)  Install the bolts (21), washers (22) and nuts (23) (four locations) to attach the discharge check valve (1) to the housing (12).

 (7)  Do these steps to install the housing (12) to the structure: (a) For the No. 1 and 4 main tank boost pumps, put the gasket seal (8) between the mounting flange on the housing (12) and the structure (View A-A). (b) For the No.1 and 4 main tank boost pumps, install the ring (28) against the structure (View A-A). (c) Hold the housing (12) from in the fuel tank and install the bolts (9) and washers (10) (seven locations) from out of the fuel tank.
 (d) (e) (f)  For the No. 2 main tank forward boost pumps, install the bolt (14) and washer (15) (two locations) to the support structure (13) (View A).For the No. 1 and 4 main tank boost pumps, install the screw (24) and washer (25) (four locations) to the support bracket (26) (View B). 1) Lockwire the screws (24).Install the bonding jumper (11), mounting bolt (27) and washer (10).
 NOTE:____ The bonding jumper should mate directly to the structure.
 (g)  Install lockwire on the mounting bolts (View C).

 (h)  Apply a cap seal of BMS5-142 to the mounting bolt head (27) and the bonding jumper terminal (11) (Fig. 401, View A-A).
 NOTE: For this application, BMS5-95 Type 1 can be used as an

 (i)  Apply these protective finishes to the rear spar at any cleaned areas not covered by the bonding jumper terminal and cap seal: 1) Alodine 600 (AMM 51-21-04/701) 2) BMS 10-20 Type II (AMM 28-11-00/801)
