 (a)  Make sure the CARGO FWD 2 and CARGO AFT 2 squib test lights go off.

 (a)  6H5, FIRE EXTINGUISHING CARGO BTL 1
 J. Do a Test of the Fire Extinguisher Bottle Installation.

 (1)  Push the TEST switch on the SQUIB TEST Control Panel on the right side panel, P61.
 (a)  Make sure the green CARGO FWD 1 and 2, and CARGO AFT 1 and 2 squib test lights come on.

Push the forward end-line pressure switch reset button, S633, if the cargo fire extinguisher bottle 1 had been discharged into the FWD compartment.

Push and hold the pressure switch manual-override button on the fire extinguisher bottle 1 or 2 (as applicable).

 (a)  Make sure the yellow DISCH light in the BTL DISCH 1 or 2 switch (as applicable) on the APU/CARGO Fire Control Panel, P8, comes on.

Release the pressure switch manual-override button on the fire extinguisher bottle 1 or 2 (as applicable).

 (a)  Make sure the DISCH light on the APU/CARGO FIRE Control Panel, P8, goes off.

 REGULATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  The regulator is installed near the cargo fire extinguisher bottles, forward area of the aft cargo compartment forward endliner panel.
 B.  After the cargo fire extinguishing bottles are discharged, you must replace the fire extinguishing bottles, the squibs, and the applicable filter and regulator.

 2.  Remove the Regulator (Fig. 401)____________________

 B.  Procedure

 (1)  Open these circuit breakers on the main power distribution panel, P6, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  
6H1, FIRE EXT BTL 1 ENG L

 (b)  
6H5, FIRE EXTINGUISHING CARGO BTL 1

 (c)  
6H6, FIRE EXTINGUISHING CARGO BTL 2

Get access to the regulator.

 (3)  
Loosen the connectors to disconnect the tubing from the regulator.

 (4)  
Loosen the jam nut.

 (5)  
Remove the two bolts and washers which connect the top support bracket to the regulator.

Remove the two bolts, nuts, and washers which connect the bottom support bracket to the regulator.

Remove the regulator from the bottom U-shaped support bracket.
