FAR 21.147 : Changes in quality control system.
After the issue of a production certi.cate, each change to the quality control system is subject to review by the Administrator. The holder of a production certi.cate shall immediately notify the Administrator, in writing, of any change that may a.ect the inspection, conformity, or airworthiness of the product.
FAR 21.149 : Multiple products.
The Administrator may authorize more than one type certi.cated product to be manufactured undertheterms of oneproduction certi.cate,if theproductshave similar production characteristics.
FAR 21.151 : Production limitation record.
Aproductionlimitation recordisissuedaspart of aproduction certi.cate.The record lists the type certi.cate of everyproduct that the applicantis authorized to manufacture under the terms of the production certi.cate.
FAR 21.153 : Amendment of the production certi.cates.
The holder of a production certi.cate desiring to amend it to add a type certi.cate or model, or both, must apply therefor in a form and manner prescribed by the Admi-nistrator. The applicant must comply with the applicable requirements of Secs. 21.139, 21.143, and 21.147.
FAR 21.155 : Transferability.
A production certi.cate is not transferable.
FAR 21.157 : Inspections and tests.
Each holder of a production certi.cate shall allow the Administrator to make any inspections and tests necessary to determine compliance with the applicable regulations in this subchapter.

Subpart G–Production Certi.cates
FAR 21.159 : Duration.
A production certi.cate is e.ective until surrendered, suspended, revoked, or a ter-mination date is otherwise established by the Administrator, or the location of the ma-nufacturing facility is changed.
FAR 21.161 : Display.
The holder of a production certi.cate shall display it prominently in the main o.ce of the factory in which the product concerned is manufactured.
FAR 21.163 : Privileges.
(a)
[The holder ofa production certi.cate may–

(1)
Obtain an aircraft airworthiness certi.cate without further showing, except that the Administrator may inspect the aircraft for conformity with the type design; or

(2)
In the case of other products, obtain approval for installation on type certi.-cated aircraft.

(b)
Notwithstanding theprovisionsofSec.147.3 of this chapter,theholderof aproduc-tioncerti.cateforaprimary category aircraft,orforanormal,utility, oracrobatic category aircraft of a type design that is eligible for a special airworthiness certi.-cate in the primary category under Sec. 21.184(c), may–

(1)
Conduct training for persons in the performance of a special inspection and preventive maintenance program approved as a part of the aircraft’s type design underSec.21.24(b),provided thetraining isgivenby apersonholding a mechanic certi.cate with appropriate airframe andpowerplant ratingsissued under part 65 of this chapter; and

(2)
Issuea certi.cateof competency topersonssuccessfully completing theappro-vedtrainingprogram,provided the certi.cate speci.esthe aircraft make and model to which the certi.cate applies.]

FAR 21.165 : Responsibility of holder.
The holder of a production certi.cate shall–
(a)
Maintain the quality control system in conformity with the data and procedures approved for the production certi.cate; and

(b)
Determinethat eachpart and each completed[product,includingprimary category aircraft assembled under a production certi.cate by another person from a kit provided by the holder of the production certi.cate,] submitted for airworthiness certi.cation or approval conforms to the approved design and is in a condition for safe operation.
