 Remove hydraulic pressure from the left and right hydraulic systems (AMM 29-11-00).
 Move the landing gear lever to the OFF position and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag to the lever.
 Open and collar the P11 panel DOOR CLOSE GND ACCESS circuit breaker.
 Remove the door locks from the landing gear doors (AMM 32-00-15).
WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE WHEEL WELL AREAS WHEN YOU CONNECT THE HYDRAULIC POWER TO CLOSE THE LANDING GEAR DOOR(S). THE
DOOR(S) WILL CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED AND THE LANDING GEAR LEVER IS MOVED FROM THE OFF POSITION.
 Close the DOOR CLOSE GND ACCESS circuit breaker on the P11 panel.
 Pressurize the left hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00).
WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE WHEEL WELL AREAS WHEN YOU MOVE THE LANDING GEAR LEVER TO CLOSE THE GEAR DOOR(S). THE DOOR(S) OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag and move the landing gear lever to the DN position. This will automatically close the landing gear door(s).
 Remove hydraulic pressure from the left hydraulic system if it is not needed (AMM 29-11-00).
3. To close the landing gear door(s) with the Gear Door Close switch failed open:
 Install downlocks on the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-20).
 Remove hydraulic pressure from the left and right hydraulic systems (AMM 29-11-00).
 Move the landing gear lever to the OFF position and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag to the lever.
 Remove the door locks from the landing gear doors (AMM 32-00-15).
 Manually reset the safety valve by rotating the latch holding the door safety valve cam (main gear door) or by rotating the latch holding the sequencing crank (nose gear door). The return springs will reset the safety valve when the latch is rotated, and the DOOR UNSAFE Light will illuminate.
WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE WHEEL WELL AREAS WHEN YOU CONNECT THE HYDRAULIC POWER TO CLOSE THE LANDING GEAR DOOR(S). THE
DOOR(S) WILL CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED AND THE LANDING GEAR LEVER IS MOVED FROM THE OFF POSITION.
 Pressurize the left hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00).
WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE WHEEL WELL AREAS WHEN YOU MOVE THE LANDING GEAR LEVER TO CLOSE THE DOOR(S). THE DOOR(S) OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 
  B757 - 200 MINIMUM EQUIPMENT LIST

 Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag and move the landing gear lever to the DN position. This will automatically close the landing gear door(s).
 Remove hydraulic pressure from the left system if it is not needed (AMM 29-11-00).
 To verify Gear Door Open/Door Arm switches failed in the open circuit position, do the following:
A. One at a time, cycle the switches. If nothing happens, the switches are failed in the open circuit position.
