Brake Disconnect Tool Installed:
Stopping distances will be increased with a brake deactivated. Adjust takeoff and landing performance in compliance with OM-B and Runway Performance Software (Finscap) data for 1 Brake Deactivated.
Brake Line Disconnected:
Adjust takeoff and landing performance in compliance with OM-B and Runway Performance Software (Finscap) data for 1 brake deactivated.
After takeoff, the landing gear must remain extended for a minimum of two minutes to allow the wheel to spin down prior to gear retraction. Takeoff climb and obstacle clearance performance will be limited by the requirement to keep the gear extended.
Adjust takeoff performance for landing gear extended based on OM-B Gear Down Appendix or Runway Performance Software (Finscap) data. In lieu of these adjustments, the following decrements can be applied to the climb and obstacle clearance limited weights to account for the 2 minute delay in gear retraction.
NOTE 1:Flaps 1 operation is not allowed.
NOTE 2:No operation with Improved Climb Performance.
1) Takeoff climb limit weight must be reduced by the following values.

15 13,000 kg
Flap Position Weight Decrement
20 10,200 kg
2) Takeoff obstacle clearance limited weight must be reduced by the following values assuming use of “extended 2nd segment” (5 minute thrust limit) procedures with MCT cleanup. All obstacles must be cleared by the height achieved at the end of “extended 2nd segment” climb:

1. Flight dispatch is permitted with the BRAKE SOURCE light inoperative provided the EICAS advisory message is operative. Verify BRAKE SOURCE advisory message operates per the following:
Start with a powered airplane and hydraulics on. Ensure parking brake is set.
Select left and right hydraulics to OFF from the overhead panel P5.
Verify the BRAKE SOURCE advisory message illuminates on EICAS.
Select left and right hydraulics to AUTO from the overhead panel P5.
