􀂃 March 27, 2008 – SMS announced that Bombardier Aerospace of Montreal, Canada, is the latest major aircraft
designer and manufacturer to have successfully evaluated its CVMTM structural health monitoring technology.
Bombardier has authorized SMS to quote that “Bombardier Aerospace has invested in the CVMTM systems and sees a
future for the technology in reduced maintenance costs.”
􀂃 February 29, 2008 – SMS announced the half-yearly performance reviews and declared its financial results for the six
months ending December 31, 2007. The consolidated entity incurred a loss of $1,861,192 for the six month period.
The net cash outflows from operating activities totaled $2,444,558.

Australian Defense Force (ADF) aircraft. ADF had conducted substantial testing and validation with regard to
CVMTM technology. On the basis of the reviews, CVMTM technology is assessed to be a suitable and acceptable
structural integrity inspection technology for use on ADF aircraft.
􀂃 July 20, 2007 – The Company announced the appointment of Dr. Rosalind Dubs as a Non-executive Director on the
company’s Board. Dr. Dubs holds extensive commercial and technical expertise in managing large international
engineering organizations. She is expected to guide the commercialization of the company’s structural health
monitoring (SHM) technologies and its future development.
􀂃 April 18, 2007 – SMS announced its agreement with Airbus, the leading European commercial aircraft manufacturer.
Under this agreement, Airbus would evaluate the CVMTM technology and new advanced strain gauge technologies.

Achievers 2006 award from Aviation Business Asia Pacific magazine for the successful development and
commercialization of products used in testing and monitoring of materials that are subject to operational stress and
fatigue.
􀂃 March 20, 2007 – The Company announced its deal with an Australian University to acquire an exclusive license for
a revolutionary strain measurement technology for application in the aerospace industry. The newly developed
polymer nanotechnology based material is expected to overcome the shortcomings of the existing metal strain
measuring technologies. The new technology is likely to provide a quantum leap in sensitivity and durability, and
requires very low power input to operate the sensor.
􀂃 March 8, 2007 – SMS announced an agreement with Boeing to include the CVMTM technology into Boeing’s
common method – Non Destructive Testing (NDT) methods. The recognition of the CVMTM crack detection sensor
monitoring technology as a standard NDT method is the first of its kind in the aviation industry and represents a
major breakthrough for the company’s unique technology.
