-short action on this switch (do not hold the switch in the UP or DN position)
-that you monitor the cabin vertical speed indication to prevent sudden changes in cabin pressure.

1. On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-adjust the cabin temperature control as necessary.
2. On the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU:
-set the MAN V/S CTL switch to DN and release, the switch moves to the neutral position. Do this operation several times. This closes the outflow valve (OVP indication on MCDU).
NOTE : The cabin vertical speed
____ must not be more than 500 ft.min (152.39 m.min) (VSCB indication on MCDU).
-stop when you get a cabin differential pressure of 280 mbar (4.06 psi) (PDC indication on the MCDU).

With the MAN/V/S CTL switch in the UP or DN position, keep the differential pressure stable at 280 mbar (4.06 psi) for 5 minutes.

Use the same method as in step 2 to increase cabin differential pressure to 580 mbar (8.41 psi).
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-make sure that the FAULT legend ofthe PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches is off.
Air blows into the fuselage.
On the MCDU (VSCB indication):
-
the cabin vertical speed must not be
more than 500 ft.min (152.39 m.min).On the MCDU (PDC indication):
-
the cabin differential pressureincreases to 280 mbar (4.06 psi).
Tell ground personnel to walk around
the aircraft and do a check for
leakage.
On the MCDU (VSCB indication):
-
the cabin vertical speed is 0. On the MCDU (PDC indication):
-
the cabin differential pressure is 280 mbar (4.06 psi).
On the MCDU (PDC indication):
-
the cabin differential pressure
increases to 580 mbar (8.41 psi). On the MCDU (VSCB indication):

On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-release the PACK 1 pushbutton
switch. On the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU:
-with the MAN/V/S CTL switch, keep the differential pressure stable at 580 mbar (8.41 psi).
7. On the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU:
-with the MAN/V/S CTL switch in DN position, fully close the outflow valve (OVP indication on MCDU).
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-release the PACK 2 pushbutton switch when the outflow valve is closed.
8. Monitor the differential pressure decrease on the MCDU (PDC indication):
-at 560 mbar (8.12 psi), record the cabin vertical speed (VSCB indication on the MCDU). The leakage rate is permitted if the VSCB value (VSCB indication on MCDU) is less than 1300 ft.min (396.23 m.min).
-
the cabin vertical speed must not bemore than 500 ft.min (152.39 m.min).
On the MCDU (VSCB indication):
-
the cabin vertical speed is 0.On the MCDU (PDC indication):
-
the cabin differential pressure is 580 mbar (8.41 psi).
