Loosen and remove the bolt, washer and nut (1) from the aft bolt hole at the top of the regulator.

Loosen and remove the bolts and washers from the remaining bolt holes.
NOTE: There are nutplates at the remaining bolt holes.

D. Install the High Stage Regulator

(1) Use the cleaner to clean the mating surfaces of the regulator and the engine bracket.
NOTE: The surfaces are found at the 2 o'clock position on the

aft end of the fan case.

Put the finishing material on all of the mating surfaces.

Lubricate the O-rings.

Apply a thin layer of the antiseize compound to the external threads of the union/regulator coupling (1 location) and the reducer/regulator couplings (2 locations).
(a)
Install the union (4) and the O-ring in the right port.
(b)
Install the reducer (5) and the O-ring in the left port.
(c)
Install the reducer (2) and the O-ring in the remaining port.

Apply a thin layer of the antiseize compound to the external threads of couplings that follow:
(a)
The union/sense line coupling (1 location).
(b)
The reducer/sense line coupling (2 locations).
