 (1)  
Apply the BMS 5-63 sealant on the mating surface of the mounting flange (AMM 51-31-01/201).

Install the self-sealing disconnect:

 (a)
Put the self-sealing disconnect on the firewall.

Align the bolt holes in the mounting flange with the holes in the firewall.

 (c)  
Attach the self-sealing disconnect with the four mounting bolts.

Apply the BMS 5-63 sealant on the bolts and on the edges of the valve mounting flange.

Connect the hydraulic supply hose and tube to the self-sealing disconnect.

Fill the hydraulic reservoir (AMM 12-12-01/301).

Pressurize the applicable pneumatic system (AMM 36-00-00/201).

Examine the self-sealing disconnect and the firewall for leaks.

If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

 CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE THE STRUT RACEWAY STRUCTURE IS FULLY SEALED. A BAD SEAL CAN CAUSE FUEL AND HYDRAULIC FLUID TO DRAIN ON HOT ENGINE SURFACES.

 Do the leakage check of the forward strut compartment (AMM 54-53-00/201) after the BMS 5-63 sealant bonds permanently.

 (11)
 Close the right half of the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

 TURBINE DRIVE SHUTOFF VALVE POSITION SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure has two tasks. The first task removes the position switch from the shutoff valve for the turbine drive. The second task installs the position switch. The second task also adjusts the position switch.
 B.  The position switch is on the left side of the shutoff and speed control valve. The shutoff and speed control valve is on the aft side of the torque box in the aft nacelle strut. You must open a door in the left trailing edge fairing to get access to the position switch.
