4. Load Sensor Installation (Fig. 205)

A. General
(1)
The load sensor for the single WBS are installed on the top of the wheel truck lugs. Protective covers and shims on the wheel truck lugs are attached before the load sensors are installed.
(2)
Each load sensor location is assigned an identification number from 1 to 16 (Table 1). The sensor identification number is entered in the weight and balance computer (WBC).
(3)
After the installation of the load sensors, you must adjust the load sensors to zero. The zero procedure requires that the airplane be on jacks and all weight removed from the main landing gear. Modes 21, 22 and 99 of the WBC are used to zero the load sensors.
