 L.  Antenna Tilt Test
 (1)  Do a weather radar antenna tilt test.
 (a)  Set the controls and switches on the WXR control panel as follows: 1) Push the WX MODE switch.
 WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR WHILE FUEL IS
_______ ADDED OR REMOVED FROM THE AIRPLANE. DO NOT TRANSMIT RF ENERGY WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR REMOVED IN AN AREA 300 FEET OR LESS OF THE ANTENNA. THIS CAN CAUSE AN EXPLOSION.
 MAKE SURE NO PERSONS ARE IN THE AREA 50 FEET OR LESS FROM THE ANTENNA WHEN IT TRANSMITS RF ENERGY. RF ENERGY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 2) Turn the TILT control to 0 degree. a) Make sure the tilt messages show the correct tilt angle | 0.5 degree.
 3)  Turn the antenna TILT control in steps from 0 to plus 4.75(x) degrees. a) Make sure the tilt messages show the correct tilt angle
 | 1 degree.
 NOTE: (X) -- an arrow, that points up agrees with the
____ plus TILT position.
 4)  Turn the antenna TILT control in steps from plus 5 to plus 15.0(x) degrees. a) Make sure the tilt messages show the correct tilt angle
 | 2 degree.
 NOTE: (X) -- an arrow, that points up agrees with the
____ plus TILT position.
 5)  Turn the antenna TILT control in steps from 0 to minus 4.75(x) degrees.

 (b)  
Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the 2 position.

 (c)  
Do the Antenna Tilt Test for system 2.

 (d)  
Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the 1 position.

 (e)
If no more tests of weather radar are necessary; Do the Weather Radar System Shutdown Task.

 M.  Ground Clutter Suppression Test
 (1)  Do a weather radar ground clutter suppression test.
 (a)
Push the 40 range switch on the captain's indicator.

 (b)  
Push the 40 range switch on the first officer's indicator.

 (c)  
Set controls and switches on the WXR control panel as follows: 1) Push the WX MODE switch.

 WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR WHILE FUEL IS
_______ ADDED OR REMOVED FROM THE AIRPLANE. DO NOT TRANSMIT RF ENERGY WHILE FUEL IS ADDED OR REMOVED IN AN AREA 300 FEET OR LESS OF THE ANTENNA. THIS CAN CAUSE AN EXPLOSION.
 MAKE SURE NO PERSONS ARE IN THE AREA 50 FEET OR LESS FROM THE ANTENNA WHEN IT TRANSMITS RF ENERGY. RF ENERGY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 2) Turn the antenna TILT control to get near ground targets on the indicators. 3) AF 160, 162-171; Set the GND CLTR SPRS switch to the ON position. 4) AF 183, 184; Set the GND SPR switch to the ON position.

 a) Most of the ground targets on the indicators are removed. b) The IDNT message shows on both the indicators.
 5)  Set the GND SPR or GND CLTR SPRS switch to the OFF position. a) The ground targets come into view on the indicators. b) The IDNT message on each indicator is removed.
 (d)  
Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the 2 position.

 (e)  
Do the Ground Clutter Suppression Test for system 2.

 (f)  
Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the 1 position.

 (g)  
If no more tests of the weather radar are necessary; Do a Weather Radar System Shutdown Task.

 N.  Stabilization Test (Uses Self-Test Circuits)
 (1)  Do a weather radar system stabilization test.
 (a)  
Set the TILT control on the WXR control panel to 0 degree.
