Make sure that the warning notice is installed on the overhead panel 25VU to tell the persons not to operate the APU.
(2)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the maintenance door 314AR.
(3)
Make sure that the maintenance door 314AR is open.

A. Preparation for Installation CAUTION : DO NOT TOUCH THE FRANGIBLE DISC INSIDE THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
_______ BOTTLE UNLESS IT IS BROKEN (CARTRIDGE FIRED). YOU COULD MAKE DAMAGE TO THE FRANGIBLE DISC OR BREAK IT.
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected lines end.
(4)
Make sure that the screen in the discharge outlet (14) is in the clean and correct condition and replace if necessary:
(a)
Remove the discharge outlet (14) from the fire extinguisher bottle (21).
(b)
Make sure that the discharge outlet (14) is in the correct condition.
(c)
Remove the screen (11) and install the new screen (11) in the discharge outlet (14).
(d)
Remove the gasket (11) and install the new gasket (11).
(e)
Install the discharge outlet (14) to the fire extinguisher bottle (21), but do not tighten the swivel nut (13) at this time.
(5)
Install the new gasket (if not already done in the step before)
(a)
Remove the discharge outlet (14) from the fire extinguisher bottle (21).
(b)
Make sure that the discharge outlet (14) is in the correct condition.
(c)
Remove the gasket (11) and install the new gasket (11).
(d)
Install the discharge outlet (14) to the fire extinguisher bottle (21), but do not tighten the swivel nut (13) at this time.

Use the inspection hole in the swivel nut (13) to make sure that the retaining ring is serviceable and in the correct position.
(7)
Make sure that the spray tubings, the straight connectors (17), and the nuts (19) are clean and in correct condition.
(8)
Install the new 0-rings (18) on the spray tubing (15) and on the discharge outlet (14).

B. Installation of the Fire Extinguisher Bottle (11WF)
(1)
Installation of the fire extinguisher bottle
(a)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to two of the bottle flanges but not the one with the bonding strap, the bolts (6), the washers (5) and the nuts (4).
(b)
Put the fire extinguisher bottle (21) in position.
(c)
Install the bolts (6), the washers (5) and the nuts (4). Do not fully tighten the nuts (4) at this time.
(d)
Install the bonding strap (8) with the washers (9), the bolt (7) and the nut (10) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004). Do not fully tighten the nuts (4) at this time.
(e)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(f)
Connect the overboard pipe (1). Do not fully tighten the nut (2) at this time.

Installation of the spray tubing
