Make sure that the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15) is correctly aligned and tighten the bolts (19) and the V-clamp (13) and (16).

TORQUE the bolts (19) to 0.56 m. daN (49.55 lbf.in).

TORQUE the V-clamp (16) to 0.68 m.daN (60.17 lbf.in).

TORQUE the V-clamp (13) to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in).

Install the bracket (18) which holds the fuel drain pipes and cables to the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15).
(12)
Remove the blanking plugs and install the load-compressor discharge temperature-sensor (12) (Ref. Task 49-23-16-400-00100).

Put a new gasket (11) in position on the mating face of the sensor module assembly (10) and the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15).
(14)
Put the sensor module assembly (10) in position on the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15) and install the bolts (9) and the bolts (8).
NOTE : You must install the sensor module assembly carefully to
____ prevent damage to the total pressure sensor pipe.

TORQUE the bolts (9) and the bolts (8) to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in).
(16)
Remove the blanking plug from the sensor ring.
(17)
Install the new O-ring (7) on the air pipe (6).
(18)
Attach the air pipe (6) to the sensor ring with the retainer (5), the washer (4) and the bolt (3).
(19)
Tighten the bolt (3) and safety with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel 0.8 mm.
(20)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connections.
(21)
Connect the electrical connector (2) to the total pressure sensor.
(22)
Connect the electrical connector (1) to the differential pressure sensor.

C. Do the operational test of the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-710-004).
(1) Operate the APU for min. five minutes and examine the joints of the air by-pass duct for leaks (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-790-004).
