(1)
Open the pressure relief door of the forward fairing (AMM 54-31-01/401).

Remove the screws, nuts, and washers at 4 locations that attach the two hinges to the pressure relief door.

Remove the shims from the door.

(4)
Remove the door from the forward fairing.

(1) Do these steps to install the pressure relief door (Fig. 201):
(a)
Put the shims and the hinges against the inner side of the pressure relief door.
(b)
Align the shim and hinge holes with the door holes.

(2) At the hinge location with the jumper wire, install these parts as follows (AMM 20-10-37/401):
(a)
Use the longest screw, two washers and a nut.
(b)
Install the jumper wire with a washer on each side of the wire.
(c)
Make sure the jumper wire is in the correct location.

(3) At the other three hinge locations, install the screws, washers, and nuts.

(4) Do a check on the electrical bonding resistance as follows:
(a) Do a resistance check between the end of the screw stud and the aluminum foil surface of the forward fairing (AMM 20-10-37/401).
NOTE: You can also use the adjacent metal surface of the
____ door, as applicable, for each attach point for the jumper wires.
(b) The electrical bonding resistance must be less than 0.01 ohm.
