Remove the hinges and washers from the bushings.

Remove the shims from the hinges.

 NOTE: It can be necessary to lightly hit the pins out of the hinges

 D. Install the CSD door.

 (1)  Examine the door stop for worn areas or deterioration.
 (a)  If there are worn areas or deterioration on the door stop, replace the door stop.

Examine the bushings for worn areas.

If there are worn areas on the bushings, replace the bushings.

Install the washers and hinges in the bushings.

Install the shims and door on the hinges with the bolt holes aligned.

Lubricate the screws with grease on all surfaces.

Install the screws, washers, and nuts (4 locations each).

Tighten the nuts with your hand.

 (7)  Lightly hit the roll pins through the hinges until they are smooth with the outer surface of the door.
 NOTE: More pin holes are given in the hinges for adjustment.
____ Do not drill through the hinges unless it is necesssary for door adjustment.

Adjust the CSD door.

 (1)  Close the access door.
 (a)  
Make sure the latches (4 locations) are in the fully open position then close the door.

 (b)  
Push the middle of the latches until they are smooth with the door.

 (2)  Make sure the door forward and aft edge clearances are
 0.01-0.07 inches (0.25-1.8 mm).

 (a)  If the clearance is not in the limits, adjust the door as follows: 1) Remove the door. 2) Add or remove the spacer washers between the hinges and
 bushings to get the correct clearance. 3) Install the door.

 (3)  Make sure the door top and bottom edge clearances are
 0.01-0.07 inches (0.25-1.8 mm).

 (a)  If the clearances are not in the limits, adjust the door as follows: 1) Lightly hit the roll pins out of the hinges. 2) Open the access door.
 a) Push the large end of each latch into the door.
