 (b)  Make sure that the travel limit mechanism stops the stabilizer. It should stop when the stop lugs on the lower end of the ballnut are 60 to 210 degrees from the stop lugs on the gearbox upper flange.
 NOTE: One turn of the ballnut is equivalent to 0.625 inch
____ (15.87 mm) of axial movement along the ballscrew.
 1)  Adjust the turnbuckles on cables SLA and SLB until stabilizer stops in the necessary range.
 (c)  
Move the stabilizer in the airplane nose down direction (stabilizer leading edge up) until it is stopped by the travel limit shutoff.

 (d)  
Make sure that the stops on the top end of the ballscrew are between 60 to 210 degrees from the stop lugs on the top end of the ballnut. 1) Adjust the turnbuckles on cables SLA and SLB until the

 above condition is correct.
