 (c)  Make sure that the stabilizer trim position indicators read
 15.50 | 0.25 units of trim.

Put the RIGHT STAB TRIM SHUTOFF switch on the P10 panel to NORM.

Move the stabilizer to 6 units of trim on the position indicators.

Release the STAB TRIM control levers and let them go to the neutral position.

Put a piece of masking tape, approximately 7.0 inches long, (180 mm) on the center of the white band on the right stab-trim control-lever-decal. Part of the forward and aft ends of the white band must show after the masking tape is put on.

 NOTE: Two pieces of masking tape can be used if:
____ - one piece is put forward of the white area on the decal and - one piece is put aft of the white area on the decal.

Put the CENTER STAB TRIM SHUTOFF switch on the P10 panel to CUTOUT.

Pull both of the STAB TRIM control levers slowly aft until the stabilizer moves.

Make a mark on the masking tape at the aft edge of the vertical shaft of the right stab-trim lever. The mark should be at the point where the stabilizer starts to move.
