3.1.4 Incorporation of Special Operational procedures, if any, in the Operational Manual of
applicable aircraft.
3.1.5 The Technical Certification is obtained by the manufacturer for each type of aircraft in
regard to RVSM modification package.
3.1.6 The local field office will perform necessary technical evaluation and submit the case
to the Headquarters, Airworthiness Directorate along with their recommendations and
evaluation report.
3.1.7 The Director Airworthiness will give initial approval, on Form CAA-592 (Rev-I), which
shall remain valid subject to satisfactory performance & compliance to Para ‘4’ below.
4. Validation
4.1 The certificate of RVSM issued by Airworthiness Directorate shall remain valid provided
operator remains compliant of the following conditions in coordination with respective
airworthiness field office.
4.1.1 Application for validation of RVSM is submitted along with ‘C of A’ renewal
document.
4.1.2 A certificate of compliance by the operator is submitted stating that “all scheduled
maintenance checks / tests which have become part of PD/SRM/CPCP as per
applicable. A.Ds, S.Bs, S.Ls & SILs as well as other REGULATORY
REQUIREMENTS have been accomplished successfully and found satisfactory
by the concerned Quality Control Inspectors / AME(s) and accordingly aircraft is
fully compliant of RVSM requirements”.
4.1.3 Attachment of HMU/GMU report, if any, nil report shall also be required as the
case may be.

4.1.4 In case of aircraft failure to hold altitude within the acceptable limits, report must
be submitted to the nearest field office and HQ Airworthiness Directorate with in
48 hours of occurrence.
4.1.5 In case of Airbus or any other aircraft which requires Altitude, speed or Mach
comparison, A survey Table such as (Ref SIL 34-064: A300) will be filled and
submitted to local field office for its evaluation and further necessary action.
4.1.6 Authority of fees deduction is provided, as applicable.
5. Suspension
5.1 The Airworthiness approval for RVSM will be revoked if: -
5.1.1 Any substantial damage, dent or skin waviness is found in the area around pitot and
static ports.
5.1.2 Any authorized Height Monitoring Agency, such as, Aero Thai, APARMO, MECMA etc
reports that the aircraft has developed an error in altitude indications beyond acceptable
limit and does not comply RBSM requirements.
6. Cancellation
6.1 This Airworthiness Notice cancels Airworthiness Notice No.69, Issue-1 dated 15-01-2004.
7. Authority
7.1 This Airworthiness Notice has been issued under the Authority vested in DG CAA vide
Rule 4 of Civil Aviation Rules, 1994.
