4. Procedure

 A. Installation of the Decal
 (1)
 Put the decal in the preparation and let it for 15 to 20 seconds.

 (2)
 Install the decal with the face which has the markings against the contact surface.

 (3)
 Press one of the ends of the decal against the support and pull the other end upwards to prevent formation of wrinkles.

 (4)
 Press the decal against the surface with a plastic scraper. Start from the center and press towards the edges. Be careful to prevent formation of wrinkles or air pockets. To complete the operation apply a strong pressure on all the surface with a rubber roller.

 (5)
 As you do these operations, remove the unwanted solution with a moist sponge.

 (6)
 Apply the moist sponge to the backing paper of the decal.

 (7)
 After 2 minutes, remove the backing paper.

 (8)
 Remove the remaining compound from the decal surface and around the decal with a sponge soaked in water.

 (9)
 Make holes in the air pockets, if any, with a needle.

 (10) If the installation is incorrect:
 (a)
 If the decal is moist:

 -remove the decal and do the procedure again with a new decal.

 (b)
 If the decal is dry:

 -apply a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) soaked in CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) on the decal, then remove the decal with plastic scraper or CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-016).
 NOTE : The decal is bonded after 3 or 4 days. During this time,
____ do not clean the decal area.

 B. Protection of the Decals in Areas on which Fluid can Fall (Fuel, Hydraulic Fluid)
 (1) Apply PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-017) on the decal with a soft hair brush.
