 A. Preparation for Installation
 (1)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).

 (2)
 Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

 (3)
 Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (4)
 Lubricate the new O-rings that follow with FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012):

 the new O-ring (4) and the new O-ring (5)

 the new O-ring (4) and the new O-ring (5)

 B. Installation of the Magnetic-Level-Indicator Assembly
 (1)
 Install the new O-ring (5) on the base (2).

 (2)
 Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) to the interface of the bolts (6).

 (3)
 Install the new bolts (6), the O-ring (4), the MLI (7) and the nuts (3).

 (4)
 Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) over the nuts

 (3) and the ends of the bolts (6).

 B. Installation of the Magnetic-Level-Indicator Assembly
 (1)
 Install the new O-ring (5) on the base (2). NOTE : You must bond one of the bolts (6) (Ref. TASK 28-43-21-991-

 002) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).

 (2)
 Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) to the interface of the bolts (6).

 (3)
 Install the new bolts (6), the O-ring (4), the MLI (7) and the nuts (3).

 (4)
 Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) over the nuts

 (3) and the ends of the bolts (6).

 (5)
 Make sure the float (1) moves smoothly along the complete length of the MLI tube.
