Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(3)
Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

A. Deactivation of the Case Drain Filter (2084GM)
(1)
Remove and discard the lockwire between the filter bowl (3) and the filter head (1).
(2)
Remove the filter bowl (1) together with the filter element (2). NOTE : You may have to pull the filter element (2) to release it from

the filter head (1).
(3)
Discard the filter element (2).
(4)
Clean the filter bowl (3) and apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to its threads.
(5)
Install the filter bowl (3) in the filter head (1) and tighten it with your hands.
(6)
Safety the filter bowl (3) to the filter head (1) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel, dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(7)
If the red clogging indicator is out, push it in to set it again. Subtask 29-10-00-860-092

Preparation for the Test
(1)
Make sure that the content of the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
(2)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).

Test
(1)
Pressurize (with the electric pump) the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(2)
Make sure there are no leaks from the filter assembly, and that the clogging indicator stays in.
(3)
If the clogging indicator comes out, push it in to set it again. If it will not stay in, do the trouble-shooting of the filter assembly to find the cause.
(4)
Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
