 A. Do a check of the engine pumps for a possible cavitation condition 
R R R R R  NOTE : Two procedures are included here to do a check if the engine pump____ has operated for more than 5 minutes in a possible cavitation condition. Each procedure is applicable for a different set of conditions. Only do the procedure that is applicable for the conditions you find.
R R R R  (1) Do the subsequent procedure if the engine pump has operated for more than 5 minutes: - With a closed engine pump fire valve - With the RSVR LO LVL warning on the upper ECAM DU and the fluid index below the minimum gaugeable level on the ECAM HYD system page.
R R  NOTE : There are no time limits if the engine pump is set to OFF (ENG____ 1 (2) PUMP FAULT/OFF pushbutton on panel 40VU) with the engine-pump fire valve open and the fluid level of the reservoir above the low level.
 (a) Replace the related engine pump (Ref. TASK 29-11-51-000-040) and (Ref. TASK 29-11-51-400-040) or (Ref. TASK 29-13-51-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 29-13-51-400-003).
 (b) Do the operational test of the related hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-11-00-710-001) or (Ref. TASK 29-13-00-710-002). 
R R R  1_  During the test, slowly move only one flight control surfaceat a time. Do this to prevent a pressure decrease to less than 2800 psi (193.0531 bar).
 (c) Do a check for particles in the filter bowl and the filter of the hydraulic control unit of the thrust reverser.
R R R  1_  If you find particles:- Replace the filter element (Ref. TASK 78-31-51-920-040). - Flush the related hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 12-36-29-170-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-36-29-170-002).

R R  (d) Do a check for particles in the case-drain filter bowl and the filter of the related engine pump.
R R R R  1_  If you find particles:- Replace the filter element (Ref. TASK 29-11-43-610-040) or (Ref. TASK 29-13-43-610-040). - Flush the related hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 12-36-29-170-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-36-29-170-002).
 (e) Do a check for particles in the HP filter bowl and the filter of the related system.
R R R R  1_  If you find particles:- Replace the filter element (Ref. TASK 29-11-45-610-001) or (Ref. TASK 29-13-45-610-001). - Flush the relevant hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 12-36-29-170-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-36-29-170-002).
 (f) Do the steps (b) thru (e) again, until all particles are removed.
R R R  (2) Do the subsequent procedure, if the engine pump has operated for more than 5 minutes: - With the RSVR LO LVL warning on the upper ECAM DU and the fluid index above the minimum gaugeable level on the ECAM HYD system page.
