Install the FCU (1) to the lube pump assembly (2). NOTE : Make sure that the alignment pin on the lube pump assembly is

installed into the recess of the FCU flange.

Put the V-clamp (4) over the flanges of the FCU (8022KM) (1) and the lube pump assembly (2) and tighten.

TORQUE the V-clamp nut (4) to 0.23 m.daN (20.35 lbf.in).

Install the drain line (14) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).

Install the IGVA supply fuel line (5) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).

Install the IGVA return fuel line (9) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).

Install the FCU solenoid fuel line (8) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).

Before installing the fuel inlet tube (19), apply LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-001A) to the internal threads of the nut.

Install the fuel inlet tube (19), torque the nut to between 4.85 and
5.31 m.daN (35.76 and 39.15 lbf.ft) and safety with lockwire.

Install the fuel LP switch 5030QM (Ref. TASK 28-22-14-400-001).

Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

Connect the electrical connector (22) to the FCU torque motor and safety with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel 0.6 mm (0.0236 in) dia.

Connect the electrical connector (21) to the FCU solenoid and safety with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel 0.6 mm (0.0236 in) dia.

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
