14 Do a check of the wiring of the DSI 17 signal from the ELAC1
__ (2CE1) COM part to the MON part (Ref. ASM 27-92/44).
- if the wiring is correct, see Para. 15_.
- if the wiring is not correct, repair the above wiring.
15 Do a check of the wiring of the PIN PROGRAM ELAC1 signal from
__ the ELAC1 (2CE1) COM part and MON part to the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 27-92/40).
(d) If the fault continues:
1 Do a check of the wiring of the PWR SPLY + 28VDC signal from
_ the ELAC1 (2CE1) COM part and MON part to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 27-92/02).
- if there is continuity, see Para. 2_.
- if there is no continuity repair the above wiring.
2 Do a check of the wiring of the PWR SPLY GND signal from the
_ ELAC1 (2CE1) COM part and MON part to the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 27-92/02).
- if there is continuity, see Para. 3_.
- if there is no continuity, repair the above wiring.
3 Do a check of the wiring of the CTL + 28VDC and ELAC1 ENGAGED
_ (DSI 50) signals from the ELAC1 (2CE1) COM part and MON part to the pushbutton switch (6CE1) (Ref. ASM 27-92/02).
- if there is continuity, see Para. 4_.

4 Do a check of the wiring from the pushbutton switch (6CE1) pin
_ A/C3 to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 27-92/02).
- if there is continuity, see Para. 5_.
- if there is no continuity, repair the above wiring.
5 Replace the P/BSW-FLT CTL/ELAC 1 (6CE1) (Ref. IPC 27920802).

R **ON A/C 301-399,
R A. If the test confims the fault:
R - Do the operational test of the ELACs (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-00-710-001)
R to make sure that the ELAC 1 servoes its associated surfaces.
R (1) If the flight controls move according to the ELAC 1 servoing:
R (a) Remove the ELAC-1 (2CE1) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-000-001).
R (b) At the ELAC 1 receptacle, do a check of the resistance between
R pin AB/11J and pin AE/14C (Ref. ASM 27-92/03).
R 1_ If the resistance is less than 280 ohms:
R a_ Remove the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) (Ref. IPC
R 27920803).
R b_ Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pin X1
R and pin X2.
R - If the resistance is less than 280 ohms:
R . replace the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) (Ref. IPC
R 27920803)
R . replace the ELAC-1 (2CE1) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-400-R 001).
R - If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
R . do a check and repair the wiring of the RLY ELAC FAULT
R signal from the relay to the ELAC 1 (Ref. ASM 27-92/03)
R . install the relay
R . replace the ELAC-1 (2CE1) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-400-R 001).
R 2_ If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
R a_ Remove the relay 40CE1.
R b_ Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pins X1
R and X2.
R - If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
R . replace the RELAY-ELAC 1 ANN SPLY (40CE1) (Ref. IPC R 27920803)
R . install the ELAC 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-400-001).

R - if the warning ELAC1 goes off, replace the FCDC-2 (3CE2)

R - install the ELAC 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-400-001).
R b_ Remove the FCDC-2 (3CE2) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-95-34-000-001).R - if the warning ELAC1 stays:
