TAMPA  INTERNATIONAL  AIRPORT
EMERGENCY  RESPONSE MANUAL
1-410.324   Monitor and coordinate the activities of Airport Police forces at    the site of the emergency or accident.
1-410.325   Conduct such post accident inspections as necessary prior to opening areas to normal traffic. 
1-410.326   Initiate emergency personnel recall plan as necessary. Maintain an up-to-date emergency telephone directory in the Communications Center.
1-410.327   Maintain a current list of locally available crash removal supplies and equipment plus specialized off-site equipment.  
1-410.328   Assume other duties and responsibilities as may be outlined in this plan.
1-410.329  Make arrangements for conducting a full scale emergency response drill at least once every three years, and at least once a year conduct a coordinated agency emergency review.
   1-410.4  MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
 The Maintenance Department under the Director of Maintenance shall: 
    1-410.41  Protect Authority property and facilities during an emergency and    make repairs to HCAA property as may be required.
1-410.42  Arrange for the response of personnel and equipment to be utilized for the support of rescue and recovery operations when requested by the Director of Operations or ADO.  
  1-420 CITY OF TAMPA FIRE  RESCUE
 1-420.1   TFR, when notified that an emergency exists will dispatch necessary equipment and personnel to the scene of the emergency.
 1-420.2   The amount of equipment and the number of personnel responding to the emergency shall be determined by TFR.
   1-420.3   TFR is responsible for securing the services of all other emergency equipment and personnel deemed necessary to cope with the emergency. This includes notification of TPD, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, requests for wreckers and ambulances, and other emergency equipment on a local level.  Should hospital facilities be

required, the TFR Dispatcher will advise local hospital emergency facilities. In the event of a Mass Casualty, TFR will notify the Hillsborough County Emergency Operations Center.
1-430 LAW ENFORCEMENT  AGENCIES
   1-430.1  CITY OF TAMPA POLICE  DEPARTMENT
 The Tampa Police Department, when notified that an emergency situation exists which requires city assistance, shall dispatch sufficient personnel and vehicles to the airport to assist Airport Police in responding to the emergency.
   1-430.2  HILLSBOROUGH  COUNTY  SHERIFF'S  OFFICE
 The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, when notified that an emergency situation exists which requires county assistance, shall dispatch sufficient personnel and vehicles to the Airport to assist Airport Police in responding to the emergency.
   1-430.3  FLORIDA  HIGHWAY PATROL
 The Florida Highway Patrol, when notified that an emergency situation exists at the Airport, will dispatch sufficient personnel and vehicles to the Airport under their jurisdiction to address the emergency.
 1-440 AIRPORT TENANTS
Airlines, general aviation companies, and other Terminal tenants that have facilities within the boundaries of TPA shall: 
1-440.1   Notify Airport Police immediately via the Emergency Telephone Number (911) or (396-3911) of all emergencies including aircraft crashes, flight and ground incidents and accidents, bomb/explosive device threats, hijacking, ramp fires, and hazardous materials, structural fires and explosions, public and personnel injuries, civil disorders, vehicle collisions, radiological contamination (i.e. from container damage), natural disasters, and theft.
