The deactivation process involves
placing a facility into a safe mode
and stable condition that can be
monitored if needed.
Deactivation may include removal of
hazardous materials, chemical
contamination, spill cleanup.

Compatibility
Analysis
The analysis is conducted to
minimize/prevent accidental or
unauthorized operation of safetycritical
functions within a system.
Adverse electromagnetic
environmental effects can occur
when there is any electromagnetic

radiation, chemical, and thermal.)
