A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(3)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access panel 196BB and the access door 198CB are open.
(6)
Make sure that the container is in position below the HP manifold.
(7)
Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

A. Preparation of the Pressure Relief Valve before Installation
(1)
Remove and discard:
-
the square-section seals (10),
-
the O-rings (12) and
-
the back-up rings (4), (11).
(2)
Remove the blanking plugs from the HP manifold and the pressure relief valve (1).
(3)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new O-rings (12), back-up rings (4), (11) and the square-section seals (10).
(4)
Put the new back-up rings (11) in position on the side of the bobbins
(5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(5)
Put the new square-section seals (10) in position on the side of the bobbins (5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(6)
Put the new back-up rings (4) in position on the side of the bobbins
(5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(7)
Put the new O-rings (12) in position on the side of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(8)
Install the two bobbins (5) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).

A. Preparation of the Pressure Relief Valve before Installation
(1)
Remove and discard:
-
the square-section seals (10),
-
the O-rings (12) and
-
the back-up rings (4), (11).
(2)
Remove the blanking plugs from the HP manifold and the pressure relief valve (1).
(3)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new O-rings (12), back-up rings (4), (11) and the square-section seals (10).
(4)
Put the new back-up rings (11) in position on the side of the bobbins
(5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(5)
Put the new square-section seals (10) in position on the side of the bobbins (5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(6)
Put the new back-up rings (4) in position on the side of the bobbins
(5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
