A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(2)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system: - on the ground service panel 198CB.

R (4) Make sure that the warning notice is in position on the access door
R 195BB to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic

R B. Safety Precautions
R (1) On the ENG panel 115VU:
R - make sure that the ENG 2 switch is in the OFF position
R - make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons
R not to start the engine.
R (2) Make sure that the engine 2 shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes
R before you do this procedure.
R (3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons not
R to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
R - on the HYD section of the panel 40VU.
R (4) On the ENG section of the panel 50VU:
R - make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC/GND/PWR 2 pushbutton
R switch is off.
R (5) Make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons not
R to energize the FADEC system.
R (6) Make sure that a container is below the check valve.
4. Procedure_________

Subtask 29-13-36-420-051
A. Installation of the Check Valve
(1) Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the new O-ring (3).
(2) Install the O-ring (3) on the check valve (1) (Ref. TASK 20-29-00-
911-002).
(3) Remove the blanking plug from the panel (4).
(4) Install the check valve (1) on the panel (4).
R R (5) TORQUE the check valve (1) to between 12.9 and 14.2 m.daN (95.13 and 104.71 lbf.ft).
(6) Remove the blanking plug from the disconnected hose (2).
(7) Connect the hose (2) to the check valve (1).
R R (8) TORQUE the coupling nut to between 9.7 and 10.7 m.daN (71.53 and 78.90 lbf.ft).

B. Preparation for the Test
(1) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2) On the ECAM control panel: - push the HYD key and make sure that, on the lower ECAM DU, the HYD page comes into view.
(3) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(4) On the HYD page: - make sure that the Yellow pressure is 206 +13.5 -13.5 bar (2987.7766 +195.8008 -195.8008 psi).

C. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-13-00-710-002).
(2) During the dry motoring, make sure that there are no leaks from the check valve.
(3) Make sure that the level of hydraulic fluid in the Yellow reservoir is correct. If necessary, fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
