 Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position on the access door 195BB to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir.

 Make sure that an access platform is in position at the engine 1(2).

 Make sure that the fan-cowl door 447AL is open.

 B. Safety Precautions
 (1)
 On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:

 -make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

 (2)
 Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

 (3)
 Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

 -in the cockpit, on the HYD section of the overhead panel 40VU.

 (4)
 On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:

 -make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

 (5)
 Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

 (6)
 Make sure that the container is below the lower case drain hose (5) connection to the hydraulic pump to collect the remaining fluid.

 4. Procedure

 A. Installation of the Lower Case Drain Hose/Tube Assembly
 (1)
 Remove the protective covers from the lower case drain hose (5), the hydraulic filter assembly and the union in the hydraulic pump.

 (2)
 Loosely connect the lower case drain hose (5) to the hydraulic filter assembly. Do not TORQUE the coupling nut at this time.

 (3)
 Loosely connect the lower case drain hose (5) to the union in the hydraulic pump. Do not TORQUE the coupling nut at this time.

 (4)
 Install the center mount clamp (25) as follows:

 (a)
 Remove the bolt (10), the washer (15) and the nut (20) from the band on the center mount clamp (25).

 (b)
 Open the band on the center mount clamp (25) and put the lower case drain hose (5) into the hole in the insert.

 (c)
 Put the band on the insert and install the bolt (10), the washer

 (15) and the nut (20).

 (d)
 Make sure that the center mount clamp is installed at a distance of 338 mm (13.3070 in.) below the flange of the suction hose/tube.

 (e)
 TORQUE the nut (20) to between 0.23 and 0.28 m.daN (20.35 and

 24.77 lbf.in).

 (5)
 Make sure that the lower case drain hose (5) is in the correct position.

 NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the fittings when you TORQUE the
____ coupling nuts. This prevents damage to the hose.
 (6) TORQUE the coupling nuts of the lower case drain hose (5) to between
 2.43 and 2.77 m.daN (17.92 and 20.42 lbf.ft).

 B. Operational Test
 (1)
 Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).

 (2)
 Do an operational test of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-13-00-710-002).

 (3)
 During the dry motoring of the engine 2, make sure that there are no leaks from the suction hose/tube.

 (4)
 Make sure that the level of the hydraulic fluid in the Yellow reservoir is correct. If necessary, fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
