R R R (2) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized. (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
R R R R R (3) Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system: - on the panel 40VU in the cockpit, - on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system, access door 196BB.
R R (4) In the cockpit, on the center pedestal, make sure that the free-fall extension handle of the landing gear is in the normal position.
R R R (5) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
R (6) Make sure that the container is in position below the cylinder.
R (7) Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
NOTE : Lubricate the seals with hydraulic fluid.____
(2) Put the new seals (6), ring (5) and ring (7) on the valve (8).

B. Installation of the Anti Shimmy Valve
(1) Put the valve (8) in the internal diameters of the cylinder (1).
(2) Install the new lock washer (2).
(3)
Install the nut (3) and TORQUE it to between 0.25 and 0.3 m.daN
(22.12 and 26.54 lbf.in).
(4)
Bend over the lock washer (2) to lock the nut (3).
(5)
Remove the blanking plugs from the line end.
(6)
Connect the hydraulic coupling (4).
(7)
TORQUE the hydraulic coupling (4) to between 2.42 and 3.16 m.daN
(17.84 and 23.30 lbf.ft). Subtask 32-51-43-720-050
C. Functional Test
(1) Do a functional test of the nose wheel steering with the handwheel (Ref. TASK 32-51-00-720-003).

(1)
