- replace the FAC-1 (1CC1), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).

- do a check and repair the wiring of the RUD TR OWN ENGD COM and RUD TR OWN ENGD MON discretes (from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the first terminal block), (Ref. ASM 22-68/03).

(1) Do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) and read the result for the FAC 2.
(2) Do the operational test of the automatic change-over function (Ref. AMM TASK 22-60-00-710-002).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the operational test of the AFS gives the maintenance message AFS: FAC2/RT ENGD FDBK:
(1) If the operational test of the automatic change-over function gives the maintenance message AFS: FAC1/RT ENGD CHG-OV:
- replace the FAC-2 (1CC2), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).

Loss of the Rudder Trim Function on the FAC 1
1. Possible Causes

- ACTUATOR-RUDDER TRIM (10CC)
- RELAY-RUD TRIM 1 (7CC1)
- FAC-1 (1CC1)
- wiring for 28VDC signal (pin A2) and GND signal (pin X2) at the relay (7CC1)
- wiring of the RUD TR ACT VALID signal from the FAC1 to the RT actuator and
associated GND at the RT actuator R - electronic module
- wiring of the RUD TR ACT PWR ON signal from the FAC1 to the relay 7CC1
- wiring of the 28VDC signal from the relay 7CC1 to the RT actuator (10CC) and associted GND at RT actuator
- wiring from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the rudder trim actuator (10CC)
- wiring of the RUD TR V1 and RUD TR V2 discretes from the rudder trim actuator (10CC) to the FAC 1 (1CC1)
