R (a) If the fault continues: - replace the rudder trim actuator (10CC) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-22-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-22-51-400-001).
R R (2) If the fault continues: - do a check and repair the wiring of the RUD TR V1 and RUD TR V2 discretes from the rudder trim actuator (10CC) to the FAC 1 (1CC1) (Ref. ASM 22-68/03).

Loss of the Rudder Trim Function on the FAC 2
1. Possible Causes

- ACTUATOR-RUDDER TRIM (10CC)
- RELAY-RUD TRIM 2 (7CC2)
- FAC-2 (1CC2)
- wiring for 28VDC signal (pin A2) and GND signal (pin X2) at the relay (7CC2)
- wiring of the RUD TR ACT VALID signal from the FAC2 to the RT actuator and associated GND at the RT actuator
- electronic module
- wiring of the RUD TR ACT PWR ON signal from the FAC2 to the relay 7CC2
- wiring of the 28VDC signal from the relay 7CC2 to the RT actuator (10CC) and associted GND at RT actuator
- wiring from the FAC 2 (1CC2) to the rudder trim actuator (10CC)
- wiring of the RUD TR V1 and RUD TR V2 discretes from the rudder trim actuator (10CC) to the FAC 2 (1CC2)

B. Test
(1) Open the circuit breaker 5CC2.
(2) After a minimum of 10 seconds, close the circuit breaker 5CC2.
(3) After 2 minutes, do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) and read the result for the FAC 2.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS : FAC2/RT ACTR 10CC:
- do a check of the correct wiring for 28VDC signal (pin A2) and GND
signal (pin X2) at the relay (7CC2) (Ref. ASM 22-68/03) - open the circuit breaker 5CC2
- remove the FAC-2 (1CC2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002).
(1) Do a check of the impedance of the RUD TR ACT VALID signal between R the pin AB/11C of the FAC-2 rack connector and the ground point DC2 R (Ref. AWM 22-68-06).
NOTE : The impedance must be more than 70 Ohms.

(a) If the impedance is not correct:
- do a check of the continuity of the wiring of the RUD TR ACT VALID signal from the FAC2 to the RT actuator and associated GND at the RT actuator (Ref. ASM 22-68/03):
1 If there is continuity:
_
- replace the electronic module of the rudder trim actuator (10CC) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-22-51-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-22-51-400-002).
a If the fault continues:
_
- replace the ACTUATOR-RUDDER TRIM (10CC) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-22-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-22-51-400-001).
- install the above removed FAC-2 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).
2 If there is no continuity:
_
- repair the wiring
