Close the AFCS A FCC DC circuit breaker on the P18-1 Circuit Breaker Panel.

Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to get out of the BITE.

 F. BITE Ground Functional Test
 S 745-022
 (1)  Do the BITE ground functional quick test:
 (a)  
Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.

 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to the <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.

 (c)  
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.

 (d)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.

 (e)  
Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU to show the DFCS BITE TEST OVERNIGHT MAINT 2/2 page.

 (f)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND FUNCTIONAL.

 NOTE: The CDU display will show TEST IN PROGRESS during a
____ 13-second cross-channel test.
 (g)  
Follow the CDU instructions until the CHANNEL SELECTION page is shown on the CDU.

 (h)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <CHANNEL A AND B.

 (i)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <COMPLETE TEST.

 (j)  
Do the preparation steps as shown on the CDU.

 (k)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE to start the quick test.

 (l)  
During this test, follow the instructions and push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE as shown on the CDU.

 (m)  
Make sure that the quick test is completed with no failure.

 NOTE: If a failure occurs, the test will stop and the TEST
____ FAILED indication will show on the CDU display.

 *[1] If library test 21 (Miscellaneous Test) fails, put code 100 into the CDU scratchpad then push LSK adjacent to RERUN>. If subtest 21.Q.112 on the FCC-B fails, the LRU fault should be PCWS XDUCER-CAPT instead of PCWS XDUCER-F/O. If subtest
 21.Q.115 fails on the FCC-B side, the LRU fault should be PCWS XDUCER-F/O instead of PCWS XDUCER-CAPT.
 (n)  If a failure occurs, do these steps:
 1)  From the CDU display, make a note of the test name, the channel, and the LRU that caused the failure.
 NOTE: Before you replace a defective component, do the
____ BITE on the system (if it is applicable) and on other FMS interface subsystems with the defective components.
 2)  If it is necessary to do the quick test again, push the LSK adjacent to RERUN>.
 3)  To get the test result data, use the CDU keyboard to put the engineering code 100 into the scratchpad. Push the LSK 6R.
 4) To get out of the test result data, push the E key on the CDU keyboard. Push the LSK 6R. 5) Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE to continue the quick test.
 (o)  If no failure occurs, the Ground Functional Interactive Test will start automatically.

 (2)  Do the BITE ground functional interactive test:
 (a)  
Do the preparation steps as shown on the CDU display.

 (b)  
Push LSK adjacent to the <CONTINUE to start the interactive test.
