Engage the autopilot channel B.

Set the flaps to the 1-unit position.
(j)
Make sure that the autopilot channel B stays engaged in the CMD mode when the flap position indicator is stable.
(k)
Set the flaps to the 0-unit position.
(l)
Make sure that the autopilot channel B stays engaged in the CMD mode when the flap position indicator is stable.
(m)
Disengage the autopilot channel B.

(1) Do the Sensor Excitation Test:
(a)
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: 1) P6-1 Circuit Breaker Panel 2) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
a) AFCS B SNSR EXC AC
b) AFCS B FCC DC
(b)
Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.
(c)
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.
(d)
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.
(e)
Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.
(f)
Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU keyboard to show the DFCS BITE TEST OVERNIGHT MAINT 2/2 page.
(g)
Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND FUNCTIONAL.
NOTE: The CDU display will show TEST IN PROGRESS during the
____ 13-second cross-channel test.
(h)
Follow the CDU instructions until the CDU display shows the CHANNEL SELECTION page.
(i)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CHANNEL A to show the FCC memory contents of channel A.

Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test No. 06 into the scratchpad.

Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 06 on the screen and in the memory.

Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test No. 30 into the scratchpad.
(n)
Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 30 on the screen and in the memory.
(o)
Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test No. 31 into the scratchpad.
(p)
Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 31 on the screen and in the memory.
(q)
Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test No. 32 into the scratchpad.
(r)
Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 32 on the screen and in the memory.
(s)
Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test No. 34 into the scratchpad.
(t)
Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 34 on the screen and in the memory.
(u)
Push the LSK adjacent to <EXECUTE to do the tests.
(v)
Do the preparation steps as shown on the CDU display but do not close the circuit breakers opened in the above steps.
(w)
Follow the instructions and push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE as shown on the CDU display.
(x)
Make sure that DFCS TEST PASSED is shown on the CDU display when the tests are completed.
(y)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(z)
Push the LSK adjacent to EXIT> to get out of the DFCS BITE TEST. (aa) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
1) P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
a) AFCS B SNSR EXC AC
b) AFCS B FCC DC
