AIRPLANES WITH BELLOWS ON THE APU SHROUD; Pull the flexible shroud away from the interconnect fitting for the center tank (View C, Fig. 401).

 (a)  Connect the fuel line.
 NOTE: Do not attach the flexible shroud flange until you
____ complete the leak check for the fuel line.

 (5)  AIRPLANES WITHOUT BELLOWS ON THE APU SHROUD; Do these steps to connect the flexible fuel line (View C, Fig. 401).
 (a)  
Install a new O-ring in the groove at the shroud.

 (b)  
Put the fuel line and the shroud into the flexible fitting.

 (c)  
Loosen and disengage the flexible fitting.

 (d)  
Connect the fuel line to the center tank fitting.

 NOTE: Do not attach the flexible shroud flange until you
____ complete the leak check for the fuel line.

 (6)  Install "section 1" of the APU aft shroud (Views D and E, Fig. 401).
 (a)  
Put the seal gasket and the shroud on the end of the fuel line.

 (b)  
Move the seal gasket and the shroud on the fuel line through the access door, 3701, for the stabilizer trim.

 (c)  
Continue to move the seal gasket and the shroud on the fuel line until they are against the pressure bulkhead.

 (d)  
Install the shroud support clamps (2 locations).

 (e)  
Loosely attach the clamps to the pressure bulkhead.

 (f)  
Align these parts:
 1) The slip joint
 2) The seal gasket
 3) The shroud

 (g)  
Install the mounting bolts and the washers that attach the shroud to the slip joint.

 (h)  
Tighten the shroud support bolts.

 (i)  
Install the bolt that attaches the bonding jumper to the aft shroud.

 (7)  Install "section 2" of the APU aft shroud (View E, Fig. 401).
 (a)  Put the aft end of the flexible fuel line in "section 2" of the aft shroud.

 (b)  Move the fuel line aft until it is against the part of the APU
 fuel line in the APU compartment.
 (c)  Connect the fuel line (View F, Fig. 401).
 NOTE:____ Do not attach the flexible shroud to "section 2" of the
 aft shroud until you complete the leak check for the
 fuel line.

Put the flexible shroud in the APU compartment on the APU shroud.

 (9)  
Install the hose clamp (View F, Fig. 401).

 (10)
 Pressurize the APU fuel line and do a check for leaks.

 (a)  
Connect the external electrical power to the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (b)  
Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:

 1)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel a) BOOST PUMP FWD TANK 2 b) SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 1 c) SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 2 d) APU CONT e) CROSSFEED VALVE f) IND LT

 (c)  
Pull the engine fire switches on the P8 panel to the FIRE position to close the two engine shutoff valves.

 (d)  
Set the crossfeed valve switch on the P5 panel to the OPEN position.

 (e)  
Open the APU fuel valve. 1) Set the BATTERY switch to ON. 2) Set the APU master switch to ON.

 (f)  
Switch for the FWD boost pump in the No. 2 tank to the ON position.
