 (8)  Put a crimp in the terminal lug for the wire bundle with the AMP hand tool and the correct dies.
 NOTE: Tank units No. 83 and 90 are connected in a parallel
____ circuit at the No. 90 probe. The diameter of this terminal lug barrel is a small quantity more than the diameter of the other terminal lug barrels. Thus, you must use the blue die at this connection (not the crimp tool red die). The blue die is larger (14-16 gage) than the red die (18-22 gage) by a small quantity.
 (a)  Make sure the tool changed the shape of the end of the terminal lug barrel.

Install the captive screw and the lockwasher on the terminal plug.

 Connect the wire bundles and tighten the clamp on the compensator or the tank unit.

 (a) Tighten the screws or the nuts to these torque ranges:
 HI-Z cable (COAX) 15-16 pound-inches LO-Z cable (COAX) 19-23 pound-inches Strain relief clamp 7-9 pound-inches

 (11) Install or tighten the clamps for the wire bundle that you removed or loosened before this step.
 E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 TANK AND COMPENSATOR UNIT BUSSING PLUG - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  There are two tank and compensator unit bussing plugs, one for the No. 1 tank and one for the No. 2 tank. These bussing plugs are installed on the front spar. On some airplanes, there is also a bussing plug for the center tank, found on the rear spar in the wheel well area. The removal and installation procedures for each plug are the same, only the location is different (Fig. 401).
